During an event organized by a leading OTT giant, Kriti Sanon attended with writer Kanika Dhillon to discuss their upcoming project. Kriti shared her thoughts on the film, saying, 'Thriller is a genre that is challenging to write and direct. Although this is my first thriller, I would say that it is more of an emotional drama thriller.'
Kriti, who was last seen in the film 'Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya,' also spoke about her decision to venture into production. She explained, 'The idea of production was not something that came to me recently or after winning the National Award. Every actor wonders what comes next. I have always had a creative inclination and wanted to explore beyond acting when it comes to storytelling. 'Do Patti' was one such story. After 'Mimi' (2021), I wanted to find something that was layered and would push me as an actor. I hadn't come across such an opportunity for a long time, so I decided to create one myself. Kanika gave me the most challenging role as an actor, and as a producer, I had the privilege of witnessing the transformation of an idea into a script and then seeing it come alive on screen. I hope to work more as a producer in the future.'

It has been over 25 years since I last worked with Sanjay, after his first film 'Khamoshi: The Musical' (1996). I have witnessed his growth as a maestro and a genius.
